The HCRC is a newly established research center at UAEU dedicated to analyzing the current state, global trends, and future prospects of the job market. About the Opportunity

We are searching for a highly motivated and talented Research Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to our mission by:

• Conducting Cutting-Edge Research: Plan and execute research projects on human capital development and labor market issues. Disseminate your research findings through various channels, including technical reports, academic journals, conferences, and books.

• Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data relevant to human resource management, labor relations, and workforce productivity. Leverage your expertise to improve our understanding of human social and economic behavior in the workplace.

• Expert Advice & Consultation: Provide consulting services to businesses, public and private agencies, and policymakers. Develop and recommend strategies to enhance human capital performance and utilization at all levels.

• Data Collection & Management: Design, implement, and evaluate effective methods for data collection, such as surveys and interviews. Gather data on attitudes, values, and work-related behaviors to understand the drivers and outcomes of human behavior in the employment landscape.

• Statistical Expertise: Perform statistical analyses using descriptive and multivariate techniques, utilizing relevant software tools.

• Program Management & Outreach: Develop and oversee administrative procedures, logistics, and outreach activities to support the HCRC's mission and ensure the success of our programs and initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

• PhD in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, or a closely related field from a reputable university (an MSc. with extensive research experience may also be considered).

• Proven research experience in human resource management and related fields.

• Demonstrated ability to secure research funding, both internally and externally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for promoting research findings and building connections with stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software.

• Experience developing and overseeing administrative and outreach activities.
