Research Assistant

The main duties of the research assistant include the following:

• Prepare and execute data collection plans for research purposes including field studies involving surveys and interviews.

• Design and perform basic research tasks such as data entry, transcribing, recording, storing, and maintaining of data.

• Perform statistical analysis using descriptive and multivariate statistical analyses of data, using computer software.

• Summarize research results and prepare tables, project-related reports, manuscripts, and presentations.

• Follow ethical standards to ensure confidentiality of clients, client services, and participants in research projects.

• Assist in identifying the relevant literature and conducting systematic literature reviews for research projects.

• Assist in preparation of research manuscripts for publication.

• Participate in administrative and logistic procedures and outreach activities to support the mission of the HCRC and successful completion of its programs and initiatives.

(5) outreach statement detailing previous work individually or with students in support of human resource management in the community and region and/or academic profession and how this experience might be used to support and advance the research program at HCRC.

Minimum Qualification

• Applicants must have an MS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, or related fields from a reputable university. • Candidates with BA degree with extensive research experience in the field will also be considered. • Candidates should also have research and outreach experience in the area of human resource management and related fields.
