• Assist Purchase manager in determining optimized order quantity for import and local purchase, based on lead time, shelf lives, cost, monthly average consumptions, etc.

• Search for new products that would fit consumer profiles of Kuwait.

• Work in customs for import and export Clearance with, coordination with company mandoops to expedite the process (label work, Baladiya sample submission, etc)

• Compile and analyze data to utilize in the purchase process.

• Contact vendors to confirm purchase order details

• Collect and fulfill requests for office supplies

• Track and monitor purchases, from initial order to receiving

• Prepare monthly reports listing all purchases, returns and related costs

• Cooperate with Sales, Warehouse department in up-to-date data to stay on course.

Skills

• Need to have a basic understanding of the overall process of import and export to/from Kuwait.

• Proficiency in the relevant management software programs.

• Experience in networking and ability to efficiently manage time.

• Must possess operational fluency in management software programs.

• Must recognize and follow through with client specifications.

• Speaking and writing Arabic preferred(not essential)

• Must be fluent in English.

• Need to have basic knowledge of East-Asian work environments, and work styles.

• Need to be proactive, responsible, and tenacious about his/her work.

• Maintain professionalism at work.

• Need to assimilate well into a new work environment.

• Need to be adept in Microsoft Office and overall computer programs.

• Newbies are welcomed however experienced in purchasing, procurement, or other administrative roles are preferred

• Strong communication skills

• Willingness work additional hours as needed
