Job Description
Serco, a multinational corporation with a focus on improving public services, is seeking a Survey Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will play a vital role in supporting a Ministry project focused on asset and facility management.
Project Description:
The project aims to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA. You will be part of a team assisting the Ministry in developing strategies to:
Improve activities to meet service requirements.
Reduce life cycle costs of assets.
Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of facilities management.
Job Description:
Conduct surveys and assessments of facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs.
Evaluate the condition of building systems, structures, equipment, and infrastructure.
Collect and analyze data related to facility condition, performance, and usage.
Generate reports and recommendations for maintenance and improvement projects based on survey data.
Provide technical support to Senior Management Engineers on facility issues.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop solutions for maintenance challenges.
Monitor compliance with regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies related to facility maintenance and safety.
Ensure maintenance activities align with relevant codes and standards.
Manage facility assets, including equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
Maintain accurate records of asset condition, maintenance history, and lifecycle costs.
Coordinate maintenance and repair projects (scheduling, resource allocation, budget management).
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., surveying, engineering).
Minimum 8 years of experience in Survey Engineering.
Familiarity with facilities operation consultancy is a plus.
Experience in quality services and studies.
Practical experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Ability to develop oneself and contribute to the development of others.
