We are searching for a highly motivated Senior Operations Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in developing and implementing world-class Operation & Maintenance (O&M) standards across government entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

What You'll Do:

  • Contribute to the National O&M Standard: Be part of a team of subject matter experts developing a comprehensive O&M manual based on global best practices.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the client's partner consultancy to define and implement a national O&M strategy.

  • Enabling Change: Assist the Enablement department in ensuring government entities understand and effectively utilize the established O&M standards.

  • Standardization Champion: Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across all aspects of O&M, including maintenance testing, system engineering programs, equipment/tool control, configuration management, facility management, emergency management, space & energy management, cleaning procedures, and fleet management.

  • Process Improvement Expert: Review and improve existing O&M processes in collaboration with the client's partner consultant, focusing on health & safety, environment, waste management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

  • Contract Standardization Architect: Develop a process to ensure consistent and standardized O&M contracts across all government entities.

You Are Our Ideal Candidate If You Have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record in leading national or international O&M initiatives.

  • Recognized expertise in O&M best practices.

  • A strong history of successful engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, including public and commercial sectors.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement best-practice standards and processes.

  • Extensive experience working in an international environment, with a preference for the Middle East and KSA.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A passion for continuous improvement and change management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Engineering, Building Services, or Facility Management from an accredited university.

  • Demonstrable subject matter expertise (and relevant certifications where applicable) in various O&M areas, including:

    • Maintenance Planning/Work Control

    • Sustainability

    • Operating Procedures Development

    • Post Maintenance Testing

    • Systems Engineering Programming

    • Equipment & Tool Control (Measurement and Testing)

    • Configuration Management

    • Grounds & Landscaping Management

    • Facility Management

    • Emergency Management

    • Space Management

    • Energy Management

    • Janitorial/Cleaning Procedures

    • Fleet Management Procedures
