Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join our team and play a key role in product stabilization, sales growth, and vendor management.

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

    • Ensure alignment between vendor objectives and company strategies.

    • Act as a source of business intelligence for vendors.

    • Negotiate win-win deals with vendors.

    • Develop and implement return processes that benefit both partners and the company.

  • Sales Support & Strategy:

    • Partner with the sales team to secure deals for specific products and customers.

    • Obtain competitive pricing while maintaining profit margins.

    • Analyze competitor activity and develop strategies to increase market share.

    • Stay informed about market trends and customer needs.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Plan inventory levels and product sell-out to ensure stock availability for sales.

    • Optimize inventory to avoid cash flow issues.

    • Make strategic decisions to move slow-moving inventory.

    • Maintain a product mix that balances margins and customer demand.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Meet regularly with customers to understand market trends.

    • Support key accounts with event planning and sell-out strategies.

  • Business Development:

    • Identify, engage, and onboard new vendors and product lines.

    • Explore new markets with existing vendors.

    • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies/products.

  • Compliance & Issue Management:

    • Ensure adherence to statutory and vendor requirements.

    • Manage escalations and resolve business issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience in product marketing, sales support, or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of vendor relationship management principles.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical mind with a focus on data-driven decision making.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
