Job Description

As the Supply Chain Process Improvement Manager, you will lead the end-to-end process of continuous improvement across all supply chain functions. This role involves initiating, aligning, documenting, and monitoring all supply chain standard operating procedures (SOPs), managing internal and cross-functional projects, and standardizing business activities to eliminate non-value-adding steps. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead cross-functional alignment to agree on supply chain targeted processes and create a full-year plan before the beginning of each year.

  • Validate the details of each process's activities, process map, and drafted SOP to fit into the overall supply chain strategy.

  • Manage conflicts among different functions to reach an aligned way forward, including external functions for cross-functional processes.

  • Obtain required approvals from department heads, directors, and VPs/chiefs for each created process using proper communication channels.

  • Ensure all documented SOPs are reviewed within their review dates, meeting recent business practices, and re-authorized on time.

  • Monitor team progress on creating planned SOPs and updating authorized ones to meet targeted KPIs.

  • Ensure team compliance to archive all authorized processes and related original documents on the supply chain shared folder.

  • Collaborate with GRC and IT to ensure visibility of SC authorized SOPs to all company functions and resolve system-related issues.

  • Review end-to-end supply chain activities to detect possible disconnects and execute proper resolutions.

  • Lead supply chain improvement initiatives and manage stakeholder alignment to achieve planned targets.

  • Facilitate agreement on assigned project scopes to deliver desired goals and convert them into project plans.

  • Lead implementation of assigned supply chain projects from initiation to closure, ensuring efficiency and meeting business objectives.

  • Ensure proper reporting of project progress and financials, as well as documentation of project closure and approvals.

  • Collaborate with SC analytics function to ensure synergy between authorized SOPs and built dashboards, reports, and KPIs.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, management, business administration, science, or information systems.

Experience, Skills & Competencies:

  • 2-5 years of business-related experience.

  • Ability to lead cross-functionally and manage a team.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with extreme accuracy.

  • Ability to grasp the full picture and articulate thoughts.

  • Structured mindset and outstanding organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent time-management skills.

  • Proactivity and proven ability to lead without authority.

  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams & Excel) and Tableau.

  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
