Electrical Engineer - Ar Ras 2 PV

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Specialist to play a key role in the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for our solar PV plant.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical System Design & Development:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop efficient electrical systems for the PV plant.

  • Review technical drawings and schematics during design and mobilization phases.

  • Participate in selecting appropriate electrical components and equipment.

• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and diagnose electrical issues within the PV plant's systems.

  • Partner with Maintenance Engineers to develop and implement solutions for optimal plant safety and reliability.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of electrical failures and establish preventive measures.

• Maintenance Activities:

  • Assist with routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of electrical components and systems.

  • Ensure timely replacement of faulty equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Perform maintenance tasks following established schedules and procedures.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and safety requirements related to PV plant operations.

  • Ensure all work complies with relevant industry and environmental standards.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and electrical system modifications.

  • Prepare reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and improvements.

  • Assist in updating technical documentation and manuals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.

• Knowledge of photovoltaic systems and renewable energy technology (a plus).

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
