We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist to join our team and play a pivotal role in establishing a state-of-the-art structural additive manufacturing laboratory.
The Opportunity:
Work under the guidance of Dr. Mohamed Moustafa to develop a world-class research facility focused on 3D-printed structures.
Oversee the establishment of cutting-edge laboratories for both 3D metal printing and large-scale 3D concrete printing technologies.
Conduct pioneering research in the field of futuristic printed structures for industrial and construction applications.
You Are a Perfect Candidate If You Have:
A Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering or a closely related field (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, Material Science).
At least 4-5 years of postdoctoral experience (for the Senior position).
Expertise in one or more areas:
Metals and composites additive manufacturing/3D printing
Advanced construction and reinforcement materials/methods
Structural and large-scale 3D concrete printing
Computational mechanics and structural topology optimization
Experimental methods and multi-scale laboratory testing
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals.
Experience mentoring undergraduate researchers or junior scientists (preferred).
A Plus If You Have:
Training or experience in robotics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
Expertise in working with metal/composite 3D printers and large-scale 3D concrete printers.
Programming and coding skills (GUI development).
Experience in computational modeling and finite element simulation.
