Technology Solution Architect

Nair Systems is seeking a visionary and experienced Technology Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of Qatar's telecommunications sector. You'll leverage your expertise to design, implement, and govern cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and operational excellence.

The Ideal Candidate

• A Telecom Domain Expert:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience, with a minimum of 10 years focused on digital/BSS solutions in the telecommunications industry.

  • Proven track record of leading and implementing complex IT and digital transformation initiatives.

  • In-depth understanding of telecom products, business models, operating environments, and applications across various functions.

• Solution Architecture Mastery:

  • Subject matter expertise in solution architecture and design, encompassing areas like:

    • Telecom and IT operating models and processes

    • Business and information systems architecture

    • Cloud solutions and hybrid integration

    • Digital domain solutions and technologies (UX frameworks, engagement solutions, container platforms, hyperscaler technologies, etc.)

  • Experience with development tools and processes (Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines, Git, etc.)

• Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) in English, with Arabic fluency a plus.

  • Ability to effectively liaise between business and technical stakeholders.

• Governance & Delivery:

  • Proven experience in architectural governance and solution deployment practices.

  • Experience leading digital transformation projects, legacy modernization initiatives, and vendor management.

  • Familiarity with relevant frameworks, standards, and methodologies (TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, COBIT, Scrum, etc.).

  • Ability to build solution design capabilities and lead teams to achieve results.

• Additional Assets:

  • Cultural awareness and experience working in the Middle East (particularly Qatar) is a plus.

  • Certifications in relevant frameworks or experience with DevOps practices are valued additions.

The Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define solution requirements, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.

• Analyze and translate business needs into actionable solutions and delivery plans.

• Design, evaluate, and recommend optimal solution approaches.

• Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and gap assessments.

• Oversee digital transformation projects delivered by vendors and internal teams.

• Manage and govern vendor solutions, contracts, and cloud implementations.

• Collaborate with architects, domains, and solution delivery teams to ensure best practices are followed.

• Support program and project management activities, including stakeholder management and risk mitigation.

• Analyze current business processes and propose improvements, overseeing implementation as needed.
