JOB TITLE: After-School Quran Class Instructor (Boys) 

RESPONSIBLE TO: After-School Quran Program Coordinator 

SUPERVISES: After-School students 

POSITION TYPE: Independent contractor paid position 

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience 

DAYS & HOURS: Mon – Fri 5:00 PM - 7:15 PM 

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB: 

The After-School Quran Class Instructor is responsible for teaching Qur’an, Tajwid and Islamic Studies to our students. 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience teaching Qur’an to children 
• Experience teaching Islamic Studies to children 
• Hafiz (preferred)

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The job description and responsibilities of the Instructor include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Teach students Islamic Studies, Qur’an, and Tajwid 
• Plan activities for gym 
• Supervise students at all times 
• Receive students from parents during drop off and direct them to class 
• Dismiss students in a safe and standardized procedure. 
• Communication with parents
