CAD Technician- Automation Panels

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed CAD drawings and designs for automation panels based on project requirements and specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design objectives, technical requirements, and project timelines.

• Create 2D drawings of automation panels using CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in panel design and manufacturing.

• Perform design reviews and make necessary modifications to optimize panel performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.

• Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and technical documentation for each design, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.

• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs and resolve any issues that may arise during production.

• Support the testing and validation of automation panels to verify functionality, safety, and reliability.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in automation systems and CAD software.

• Provide technical assistance and guidance to other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience working as a CAD Technician or similar role, with a focus on automation panel design.

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and automation systems.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to panel design and manufacturing.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings and documentation.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
