General Accountant

We are seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and prepare journal entries.

• Maintain general ledger accounts and support budgeting/forecasting processes.

• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data and insights.

• Assist with audit schedules and liaise with auditors.

• Identify process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

• Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in general accounting roles.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).

• SAP experience is a significant advantage.

• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and practices.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
