Senior Consultant - Health and Safety

Your new role, what's involved?

• Conduct thorough assessments of workplace environments to identify potential hazards and risks.

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and internal teams on health and safety best practices.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized health and safety programs tailored to their specific needs.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees and clients to promote awareness and adherence to health and safety protocols.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in health and safety practices.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

• SCE registration in Health and Safety.

• 10+ years of proven experience working as a Health and Safety Consultant or in a similar role.

• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are highly desirable.

• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
