BIM Manager

WSP is a leading international engineering and professional services firm dedicated to creating innovative solutions for a better future. We are seeking a talented and experienced BIM Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering successful BIM projects.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, leading a team of BIM professionals, and ensuring the effective use of BIM throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with design and construction teams to optimize project outcomes and contribute your expertise to client presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans for each project, outlining BIM requirements and deliverables.

• Lead and coordinate BIM meetings with project teams to ensure efficient BIM utilization.

• Manage and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and modelers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.

• Collaborate with design teams to leverage BIM for improved design coordination and communication.

• Partner with construction teams to utilize BIM for enhanced construction coordination, scheduling, and sequencing.

• Provide BIM training and support to project team members as needed.

• Evaluate and recommend new BIM technologies and tools to optimize project delivery.

• Participate in client meetings and presentations, showcasing your BIM expertise.

• Ensure proper BIM data management and archiving for future use.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (required).

• Minimum 10 years of BIM management experience, including at least 5 years on large construction projects (required).

• In-depth knowledge of BIM technologies, tools, and methodologies (required).

• Experience with BIM authoring tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) (required).

• Experience with BIM data management and interoperability tools (e.g., BIM 360, ProjectWise, Solibri) (required).

• Strong leadership and communication skills (required).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (required).

• Strong problem-solving skills (required).

• Experience in a Theme Park environment (a plus).
