The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to lead a team of medical technology service professionals within the Clinical Engineering Department. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational and technical support of medical diagnostic, therapeutic, and analytical devices used for patient care and research. As the senior operational and technical resource for your assigned team, you'll provide expert guidance, foster a culture of excellence, and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the Way: Coordinate and oversee all operational and technical support services delivered by your assigned team. Ensure exceptional service quality from Clinical Engineers, Technicians, and other personnel, both internal and from external service providers. Monitor productivity and quality of work across all assigned teams within your section.

• Empower Your Team: Train and guide assigned personnel, including Clinical Engineers, Technicians, and interns. Ensure they have the necessary resources to perform effectively. Develop and implement service procedures and schedules for medical devices as required.

• Develop Your Team: Participate in performance appraisals and develop educational plans to enhance the individual and collective effectiveness of your team within the Clinical Engineering Department.

• Problem-Solving Mastermind: Develop and implement solutions to engineering challenges related to clinical and research equipment. Design, fabricate, and modify medical technology when required.

• Technology Champion: Advise on the utilization and adoption of new and existing medical technologies within KFSHRC.

• Resourceful and Reliable: Coordinate the ordering of technical materials needed to support assigned medical technology.

• Education Advocate: Provide or coordinate medical equipment user education and training as necessary.

• Tech-Savvy Leader: Maintain competency in the Clinical Engineering medical technology database and other relevant software programs.

• Active Engagement: Participate actively in assigned KFSHRC committees.

• Commitment to Excellence: Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

• Lifelong Learner: Engage in self-development and participate in the education, training, and development of others.

You're a Perfect Match If You Have:

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Biomedical Engineering with a healthcare background, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in a hospital environment, with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity (for candidates with a Master's degree). Candidates with a Bachelor's degree require six (6) years of experience.

• A valid license from your country of origin.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
