Job Description


1.Performs all duties assigned by the Sectional Technical Supervisor with caution during the process of receiving/distribution/rotation/counting.

2.Verifies quantity against Purchase Order/Pick Slip/on the shelves manually or through Warehouse Management System (WMS) when applicable.

3.Uploads delivered items into Pyxis System ensuring correct count and placement, taking note of expiry dates.

4.Distributes stock as directed by the Sectional Technical supervisor to the Interventional procedure rooms.

5.Informs the Sectional Technical Supervisor about any discrepancies in description, catalogue number and quantity.

6.Reads and maintains proper supply level in Interventional Procedure rooms, stores and other outlying areas during Top-Up. Captures successfully supply counts into computer and keying in of the information, where applicable. Prints labels for supplies and affixes where applicable during reorganization.

7.De-boxes supplies and places it in proper locators following accepted procedure for stock rotation. Breaks down empty boxes and places in proper receptacle for disposal.

8.Ensures that items are stocked properly on the shelves, locators and location.

9.Picks supplies from shelves ensuring correct item, lot, and quantity to meet procedural requirements as directed by the Sectional Technical Supervisor, ensuring correct update of the Pyxis system and corresponding patient MRN.

10.Be familiar with Oracle Supply Chain Management's system in order to utilize it effectively to accomplish tasks.1

1.Assists in the appropriate maintenance of storage, rotation and removal of expired/re-called items from the shelves. Informs Sectional Technical Supervisor of critical low levels.

12.Maintains work area in a neat, clear and orderly condition and prevents unauthorized persons from entering the area.

13.Assists in the annual physical inventory of stocks or in the cycle counts as and when required.

14.Participates in self & Hospital's quality improvement plan.

15.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

16.Participates in self & other's education, training & development, as applicable.

17.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Detailed Description
Associate Degree/Diploma in Hospital Administration or other related discipline or High School Education is required.
Job Requirements
No experience required with Associate Degree/Diploma or one (1) year of related experience with High school education required.
