Interior Designer

We are searching for a talented designer to join our team and play a vital role in creating comfortable, functional, and visually appealing interiors for our hospital facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hospital departments to understand their needs and requirements for new and existing building interiors.

• Develop and present various interior design options that meet functional and aesthetic needs, adhering to hospital standards.

• Consult with architects throughout the design process to ensure seamless integration with architectural plans.

• Create a range of design documents, including schematic drawings, preliminary drawings, and working drawings.

• Propose alternative solutions for interior layouts and finishing materials.

• Review and approve (or recommend modifications) for contractor submissions such as shop drawings, material samples, and substitutions for all interior-related work.

• Research, evaluate, and recommend upgrades for existing hospital finishes.

• Develop functional programs for hospital renovation and new decoration projects.

• Participate in weekly meetings with contractors and hospital staff.

• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.

• Collaborate with hospital departments to select furniture, fabrics, and other interior elements that meet hospital standards and enhance patient experience.

• Negotiate and coordinate with furniture, fabric, and related item suppliers.

• Conduct site visits to factories to inspect ongoing contractor work and assess manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture (required).

• Three years of relevant experience with a Master's degree or five years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (required).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software like Primavera or MS Project (preferred).

• Skills in 3D modeling and color rendering (a plus).

• Strong understanding of hospital design standards and best practices.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

• Commitment to patient-centered design and creating positive healing environments.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
