Job Description

The E-Services Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the E-Services organization at KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.). This role plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative mobile and online solutions to enhance the patient, staff, and eventually supplier and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and deployment of new E-Services initiatives at KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.)

  • Oversee all E-Services efforts, including those developed internally and by external vendors

  • Manage and develop the E-Services team, fostering employee engagement and retention

  • Develop a comprehensive roadmap for the future of E-Services at Healthcare Information Technology Affairs (HITA)

  • Manage projects for the development and implementation of E-Services solutions

  • Identify and leverage opportunities to promote KFSH&RC's use of E-Services

  • Represent KFSH&RC in relevant standards bodies

  • Lead the development of enterprise standards for effective patient engagement through HIT solutions

  • Participate in the Patient Experience Committee

  • Oversee the career development and employee engagement activities within the E-Services Department

  • Stay current on global trends in hospital E-Services, including applications, vendors, and emerging issues

  • Participate in ongoing education and training for self and the team

  • Ensure adherence to all established hospital policies and procedures

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or a related field (required)

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a related field, with 4 years of managerial experience (for PhD holders)

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in a related field (for Master's degree holders)

  • Minimum of 11 years of experience in a related field (for Bachelor's degree holders)
