Head, E-Services

Brief Description

1. Leads in identifying E-Services to be deployed at KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.).

2. Oversees E-Services efforts, both those provided by external vendors and those developed internally, as well as employee engagement, development, and retention within the Department.

3. Leads the creation of the roadmap for development of E-Services at Healthcare Information Technology Affairs (HITA).

4. Oversees projects to develop and deploy E-Services at KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.).

5. Identifies opportunities (publications, conferences, and social media) to publicize K KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) use of E-Services.

6. Represents KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) in standards bodies.

7. Leads the development of enterprise standards for effective HIT - enabled patient engagement.

8. Participates in the Patient Experience Committee.

9. Oversees the career development and employee engagement activities for E-Services Department.

10. Stays current on trends in Hospital E-Services globally, including applications in use, vendors, and issues.

11. Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.

12. Follows all established Hospital policies and procedures.

13. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Detailed Description
PhD, Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics or related discipline is required.
Job Requirements
Six (6) years of related experience including four (4) years in a managerial position with PhD, nine (9) years of similar qualifications with Masters Degree, or elven (11) years of similar qualifications with Bachelor's Degree is required.
