CARPENTER I

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and aesthetics of our hospital by performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including fabrication, modification, installation, and repair of wood fixtures and structures.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, construct, and install various carpentry elements:

  • Ceilings

  • Partitions

  • Windows

  • Doors

  • Cabinets

  • Shelves

  • Work counters

  • Other woodworks

• Perform daily corrective and preventive maintenance on carpentry elements.

• Install required hardware and accessories for carpentry work.

• Utilize hand and portable power tools effectively.

• Work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.

• Maintain accurate records of completed work, including materials used and time spent.

• Guide and train junior carpentry personnel.

• Adhere to all prescribed safety procedures.

• Follow all hospital policies and procedures.

• Participate in self and team education and training programs.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Carpentry or a related field.

• OR

• High School diploma with a technical certificate in Carpentry.

Experience:

• Four (4) years of carpentry experience after completing a trade school program.

• OR

• Five (5) years of on-the-job carpentry training experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Saudi Driver's License (or ability to obtain one).
