Job Description

In this exciting role, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients across JHAH facilities in Dhahran, AlHasa, Udhailiyah, Ras Tanura, and Abqaiq. You'll work closely with a team of mentors and senior staff to develop treatment plans, administer therapy sessions, and document patient progress.

What You'll Do:

  • Assessment & Treatment Planning:

    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify functional limitations and goals.

    • Collaborate with patients, families, and physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.

    • Educate patients and families on their conditions and self-care strategies.

  • Therapeutic Intervention:

    • Provide a variety of therapeutic interventions, including exercise prescription, manual therapy, and electro-physical modalities.

    • Instruct patients in the use of assistive devices to improve mobility and independence.

    • Document treatment sessions and patient progress in the electronic medical record.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure coordinated care.

    • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to explain treatment plans and progress.

    • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care.

  • Professional Development:

    • Continuously learn and develop your skills through evidence-based practice and participation in professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.

  • Completion of a 1-year internship program.

  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the country of origin (e.g., US, Canada, UK, Australia).

  • Up to 2 years of clinical experience following licensure.

  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.

  • Experience with various therapeutic interventions, including exercise prescription and manual therapy.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural competency.

  • Fluent written and spoken English; spoken Arabic is a plus.

  • Current BLS certification.

  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office preferred).
