Job Description
Principal Duties
Roles include but are not limited to: * Coordinate with IRC group to inspect and evaluate the physical conditions of the inpatient vacant rooms and it's availability to accommodate the next patient. The target is to comply with safety, health and sanitation regulations.
Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the assigned areas, initiate action for necessary maintenance repairs and follow-up until completion of the requested work in coordination with Maintenance Department.
Assure that the facilities were inspected according to the Quality Assurance Program guidelines and the deficiencies were noted/reported and corrected in coordination with the other Environmental Coordinators and Contractor Work Director.
Review and submit the weekly housekeeping supplies request and ensures that it is utilized in an appropriate and safe manner
Inspect landscaping areas at medical facilities and gardening projects surrounding medical facilities and report deficiencies to the designated department.
Inspect the recycling programs throughout medical facilities. Ensure that recycling bins/containers are available in sufficient numbers, assigned staff are trained and recycling machine/equipment are operating in good condition.
Provide logistic and technical support such as requesting gate access, issuing material gate pass, requesting security permission or any other authorized action which would help the Environmental Coordinators or Contractor Personal to perform job related tasks.
Coordinate the operation of the hydraulic man-lift machine for cleaning and other job related purposes.
Attend, perform and complete all work location related trainings and drills.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health/Science or Public Health or equivalent.
Experience
Up to 5 years' experience in related field.
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
Very good English both oral and written
Ability to read and write reports
