Job Description
"1. Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of all financial information necessary for the on-going operations. In addition, the Finance Manager will be responsible for monitoring internal controls and other procedures for the purpose of safeguarding the assets of the company.
.2. Responsible for managing the Finance Department, and its functions and staff.
3. Provide assistance to the Director when required to research and develop information necessary for financial feasibility studies and business prospectus for proposed new programs, changes in operations and major expenditures.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Maintain financial statements and accounting records according to the generally accepted accounting procedures implemented and, in accordance with the laws of Kuwait.
2. Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports developed and prepared within the company.
3. Responsible for the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions. This includes producing accurate and timely payrolls and accurate and timely payments to vendors.
4. Provide assistance to the Management Committee in conducting operational reviews to determine accepted internal controls are in place for the safekeeping of all assets.
5. Responsible for working with the Director and the Management Committee to develop the annual operating and capital budgets
6. Provide assistance to the Director in the preparation of month financial analysis reports; and, as may be requested.
7. Undertake financial feasibility studies and business prospectus for the purpose of assessing existing and proposed new programs; changes in operations; or, major capital purchases.
8. Responsible for managing the Finance Department, and its functions and staff.
9. Responsible for providing on-going training and development for all Finance Department staff.
10. Communicates internally and externally as required to carry out the duties of the job and the functions of the Finance Department.
11. Undertake any other duties, as from time to time, may be assigned by the Director."
