Job Description
We are seeking an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. The HR Specialist will be responsible for setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. Successful candidates should have a good understanding of full-cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation. Ultimately, the HR Specialist will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring HR procedures run smoothly at all times.
Communication & Working Relationships:
Internal: Personnel & Medical Insurances & GOSI & Support HR
External: Recruitment Agencies for drivers
Responsibilities:
Addition & deletion of employees in medical insurance.
Manage and update administrative work such as preparing attendance, contracts, job offers, identification letters, etc. Ensure the distribution of paychecks to all organizational employees.
Respond to inquiries from government representatives about the organization, its operation, and employees to provide accurate information.
Prepare any support documents or data that the Government Dept. would use during government meetings/negotiations and report finished documents for sign-off. Escalate any issues or problems.
Reception of drivers and dispatching drivers.
Reviewing government agencies and concerned authorities to clear them for work, their employees, and workers.
Update employee records with new hire information and changes in employment status.
Responsible for maintaining personnel files.
Responsible for workers’ rooms for laborers, drivers, and technicians.
Receiving new workers and providing them with suitable housing.
Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.
Add additional new employees to the Oracle system.
Follow up on timesheets with the payroll Dept.
Solve driver issues and follow up with the main HR Office on driver’s status.
Conduct personal interviews with candidates and coordinate follow-up interviews with direct managers.
Add employees to GOSI.
Update contracts in Qiwa and add new employees.
Responsible for all GOVT. websites (MUQEEM, mudad, Qiwa).
Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll processes.
Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good problem-solving abilities.
Team management skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Outlook).
