Job Description
Be responsible for spa treatment consultations and identification of possible contraindications.
Be responsible for performing beauty therapy treatments, massage and body therapy treatments and specialized treatments for the members and guests to the required standard and provide guests with home-care well-being program.
Be responsible for after care advice for the member of guest
Be responsible for achieving retail sales
Ensure that all treatment rooms and therapy back of house areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Ensure that all equipment is serviced as part of a preventative maintenance program
Carry out spa tours and spa consultations with guests and members, giving personalized advice and promote facilities, treatments and products
Assist during spa promotions and events
Assist with marketing and public relations
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures
Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required
Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Posses active license or certification in related field
One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
