The Clinic Receptionist will act as the Image bearers of the clinic. The incoming patients will be met by Receptionist and the manner of dealing with the patient shall convey an impression of the entire Clinic. Therefore, the onus is on the Receptionist to be courteous to and prompt in attending, the incoming patients. Providing customer service with a positive, welcoming attitude at all times; maintaining a clutter-free, customer-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Adhere to established policies and procedures while providing patient care.

• Greet patients courteously and promptly.

• Answer patient inquiries by phone and in person.

• Schedule appointments.

• Explain clinic fees and collect payments according to the established fee schedule.

• Guide patients to the appropriate clinic area.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain departmental records and files.

• Prepare required documents and appointment slips.

• Verify patient insurance coverage.

• Handle cash collections and ensure proper handover to supervisor.

• Operate computers, photocopiers, and K-Net machines for reception tasks.

Professional Development

• Participate in departmental meetings and training programs.

• Perform other assigned duties.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in computer operation.

• Familiarity with photocopiers and K-Net machines (a plus).
