Job Description
Wizejob HR Consultancy is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to join our team.
As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgeries to treat medical conditions affecting the spinal cord, brain, and peripheral nerves.
You will work closely with a team of surgeons and nurses to provide exceptional patient care and achieve successful surgical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform surgeries to remove tumors, treat injuries, and alleviate chronic pain
- Coordinate and lead a team of surgeons and nurses in the operating theater
- Interpret and analyze results of diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, and PET scans
- Assess patients, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and neurologists to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of neurosurgery through ongoing education and attending conferences Requirements:
- Medical degree and completion of a residency program in neurosurgery
- Valid license and certification to practice neurosurgery
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and microsurgery techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity - Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work as part of a team
