Instrument Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of instruments and control systems. You will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, calibrate, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level transmitters.

2. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on instruments and control systems to identify and resolve any issues.

3. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instruments and control systems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

4. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop maintenance plans and schedules.

5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while working with instruments and control systems.

6. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment performance.

7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in instrument technology.

8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure proper storage and handling of instruments and tools.

9. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.

10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Preferred Candidate:

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

2. Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.

3. Strong knowledge of instrument installation, repair, and maintenance techniques.

4. Familiarity with various types of instruments, control systems, and their components.

5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

7. Good understanding of safety regulations and practices.

8. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.

9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
