Job Description
Veolia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team and lead the sales and marketing efforts for our Tahwil hazardous waste treatment facility.
Mission Summary:
Build and solidify Veolia's market position for the Tahwil facility by developing and closing business relationships with potential clients in the industrial sector.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Tahwil sales and marketing team.
Contribute to the development of the industrial waste treatment industry within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
Market Research and Opportunity Identification:
Conduct thorough research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and potential business opportunities.
Identify and qualify potential customers in the hazardous waste generation sector.
Develop strategies to secure sufficient waste volumes for sustainable facility operation and maximize output.
Business Development and Sales:
Cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their waste management needs and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to showcase Veolia's waste treatment solutions.
Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage customer relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceeding expectations.
Team Leadership and Management:
Provide effective leadership and guidance to the Tahwil sales and marketing team.
Manage resources efficiently to ensure proposals are delivered on time and within budget.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Project Management:
Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing and project handover to operations.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including marketing, technical teams, finance, and legal departments.
Liaise with plant management to ensure successful waste treatment and meet customer requirements.
Marketing and Communication:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Veolia's Tahwil facility and waste treatment solutions.
Represent Veolia at industry events and trade shows.
Prepare reports and provide valuable insights to management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales and marketing within the industrial waste treatment industry (required).
Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and the regulatory landscape for hazardous waste management (required).
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team (required).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills (required).
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels (required).
Comfort working at the CEO/Director level (internal and external) (required).
Expertise in proposal development and contract negotiation (required).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) (required).
Fluency in English and Arabic (required).
Commitment to HSEEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality) principles (required).
Adherence to Veolia's compliance guidelines (required).
Our teams design and deliver drinking water or wastewater treatment plants as well as smaller standardized water treatment equipment for industrial or municipal customers. We also offer a range of services (audit, maintenance, digital, etc.) to cover all water treatment plant management needs.
