Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Payroll Assistant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an HR Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the HR department in all aspects of payroll administration. This includes processing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain employee records, including personal information, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions
Calculate and process employee reimbursements and deductions, such as taxes, insurance premiums, and retirement contributions
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other relevant parties
Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, including tax withholdings and reporting
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any issues or discrepancies
Assist with the preparation of payroll-related documents, such as employment contracts and termination letters
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Preferred Candidate:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role
Billingual Candidates, Arabic and English
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Knowledge of HR processes and procedures is a plus
