The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving sales, building a high-performing team, and exceeding our commercial objectives.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities, build strong client relationships, and cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
Team Coaching & Mentorship: Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to your team members, fostering their professional development and success.
Performance Management: Conduct regular sales reviews, set clear goals, and implement performance management strategies to optimize team effectiveness.
Sales Forecasting & Analytics: Develop accurate sales forecasts and analyze market trends to make data-driven decisions.
Recognition & Rewards: Implement a program to recognize and reward top performers and motivate the entire sales team.
Collaboration: Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal departments to ensure seamless sales operations.
Market Awareness: Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for new business development.
Client Acquisition: Generate new business by meeting with potential clients, understanding their needs, and proposing relevant solutions.
Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and continued business.
Sales Process Management: Effectively manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
Activity & Revenue Targets: Set clear and achievable weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets for your team and motivate them to achieve success.
Lead Generation: Build and manage the sales funnel, generate leads through cold calling, emailing, and other strategies.
Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Qualify incoming leads, identify key decision-makers, understand client requirements, and nurture leads until they are sales-ready.
Sales Team Support: Provide ongoing support to your sales team by handing over qualified leads and offering guidance throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Data Management: Maintain and update the lead generation database to ensure accurate and organized lead tracking.
Performance & Goal Achievement: Consistently achieve your own weekly and monthly sales targets.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a B2B Sales / Account Executive, Inside Sales / Sales Development Representative role, ideally within the Media & Entertainment, IT Services, or Software/SaaS industry.
Proven Track Record: A demonstrably successful sales record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Relationship Building: Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Goal Orientation: A highly driven and results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving ambitious goals.
