Pipeline Specialist(Construction)

Qualification Required

A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years in in GCC region.

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil&Gas or Petrochemical projects.

• Good experience in the Pipeline field in the O&G industry for large projects.

• Supervision of Pipeline Construction activities ensuring all applicable Project safety procedures are fully and properly implemented.

• Supervision of Surveying, preparation of ROW, Cold Field Bending, Stringing, Trenching, Mainline Welding, Tie-in Welding, crossing by various methods and NDT Field Joint Coating, Cleaning, pigging, Hydrostatic Testing, Drying, Purging, commissioning, and handover.

• Replacement of in-service flowlines based on integrity evaluation by Hydrostatic test.

• Temporary & permanent repair of Static equipment which includes Planning, supervision, and execution of all maintenance activities for in-service oil, gas and water flowlines, transfer line, wellhead manifold, gas line, main oil lines, plant piping, vessels, well head casing and structural supports.

• Review and approval of flowline’s route map, crossing drawings, as-build drawings, and final dossiers
