Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Schedule, Ensuring Full Preventative Maintenance Is Carried Out in accordance with OEM instruction and time schedules. Carry out any unplanned breakdowns that may occur during operation and prioritize the workload to meet operational needs.
Ensure Compliance with All Company Regulations and Procedures in Respect of Safety, Quality and Asset Maintenance and Integrity.
Ensure Effective Control of Downtime & Maintenance Costs & Follow the Budget Guidelines.
Set/Monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicators) And Scorecards to Identify Areas for Improvement where possible.
Lead & enhance the capability and knowledge of the Facility maintenance team through effective Recruiting, Development of a Multi Discipline team through training and sharing of technical knowledge. Motivate and encourage the team to collaborate and work together for better team efficiency and transfer of knowledge.
Conduct Daily Safety Meeting, Including JHA prior to distributing planned Work Orders for the day to the Maintenance Team and ensure the Team understand and follow All Safety Precautions, including Wearing of appropriate PPE For the Job.
Developing and maintaining Machine / equipment Checklists and continual Monitoring to avoid / minimize any equipment downtime.
Oversee And Manage CMMS Work Orders for Facilities and Production Equipment, Keep Maintenance Logs and Report on Daily Activities.
Good Ability for Trouble Shooting & Problem Solving, as well as supporting the Team in technical troubleshooting issues.
Prepare Annual Budget Plans (Capex & expenses) as well as Forecasts by Reviewing Operational & Maintenance Requirements.
Good Coordination and planning between Maintenance & Production / manufacturing and Aftermarket departments when needed.
Issue Periodic Maintenance Report Showing Downtime, Overtime, Shutdowns, Etc.
Drive The Culture of Continuous Improvement in Maintenance and overall facility.
Monitor The Usage of Spare Parts and Order Replacements When Necessary. Develop and maintain a min max stock level where required.
Manage Relationships with Contractors and Service Providers.
Coordinate With Procurement/Facility Coordinator with Respect to Maintenance Orders.
Manpower Planning and Control Shift Activities, as well as Managing Leave Roster and Absence and Performance Evaluation.
Managing with the support of Supply Chain team, 3rd Party Maintenance Contracts.
Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage the Facility Maintenance Team to ensure all work is carried out in a Safe, efficient and effective manner. Supporting and working with the Operations departments to avoid any nonproductive time where possible.
Reporting to Management in an effective way and look at ways to improve the business though collaboration with other departments within the facility / organization.
Bachelor degree or Diploma in Technical Field with experience , or equivalent.
Experience Required:
5+ years' experience in a maintenance environment.
