Senior Fellow - Petrochemicals

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the effects of feedstocks and products demand and supply dynamics on pricing

• Monitor evolving market trends on new and expanded petrochemical capacities

• Follow the impact of the energy transition on integration opportunities between refining and petrochemical operations

• Evaluate the roles of trade and environmental policies on petrochemical sector investments

• Analyze the implications of existing and emerging regulations and producer responsibility requirements on petrochemical derivatives and plastics markets

• Investigate impacts of circular economy models within the petrochemical value chain, including waste management

• Design and conduct applied research on the above topics

• Prepare publications (reports, market analysis, research papers)Contribute to advisory projects for the Saudi energy sector

Competencies & Qualifications:

1. Master's degree or Ph.D. in Economics, Engineering, or energy-related relevant fields

2. Min 8-10 years of research or industry experience in the downstream and petrochemical sectors

3. Good command of techno-economic and/or modeling analysis of petchem sector

4. Consultancy experience would be an advantage

5. Experience of working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams

6. Good communication skills and enthusiastic team player
