Job Description
Responsibilities:
Analyze the effects of feedstocks and products demand and supply dynamics on pricing
Monitor evolving market trends on new and expanded petrochemical capacities
Follow the impact of the energy transition on integration opportunities between refining and petrochemical operations
Evaluate the roles of trade and environmental policies on petrochemical sector investments
Analyze the implications of existing and emerging regulations and producer responsibility requirements on petrochemical derivatives and plastics markets
Investigate impacts of circular economy models within the petrochemical value chain, including waste management
Design and conduct applied research on the above topics
Prepare publications (reports, market analysis, research papers)Contribute to advisory projects for the Saudi energy sector
Competencies & Qualifications:
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Economics, Engineering, or energy-related relevant fields
Min 8-10 years of research or industry experience in the downstream and petrochemical sectors
Good command of techno-economic and/or modeling analysis of petchem sector
Consultancy experience would be an advantage
Experience of working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
Good communication skills and enthusiastic team player
