Job Description


The Consultant Ophthalmologist is fully responsible to provide a high standard of clinical care and expertise in assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in area of Ophthalmology and related areas of the specialty.

They should be actively involved in continuous quality improvement activities of department and hospital to achieve the goals of HMG.

Requirements

  • Western trained / board certified (CCT or equivalent western qualification)

  • Post-graduate qualifications in the specialty.

  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years of practice in specialty after obtaining the higher degree in a Tertiary Care Hospital.

  • Membership, Fellowship and/or Board Certification in respective specialty.

  • Relevant licensure from the country of origin, acceptable to Saudi Commission for Health Specialty and Ministry of Health.
