Position Overview:

AUM's College of Engineering and Technology (CoET) seeks dynamic full-time faculty members as Assistant/Associate Professors for its Civil Engineering Department, starting Fall 2024 Semester. The chosen candidates will contribute to maintaining the high quality of academic programs and preparing students for careers in engineering and technology with an emphasis on leadership and creativity.

Job Requirements:

• PhD Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an internationally accredited university.

• Excellent publication records, especially in the last five years.

• Demonstrable research capability and commitment to academic achievements.

• Solid commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate level.

• Ability to work in a diverse, interdisciplinary, and fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrable skills in oral and written English; bilingual in English and Arabic is preferred.

• Industry experience is advantageous for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of employment experience, including practitioner/professional and supervisory/management roles.

• Teaching experience in post-secondary or industry training environments.

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Education.

• Record of participation/leadership in applied research projects.

• Experience in leadership and innovation in technology-based projects.

Job Description:

• Evaluate, monitor, and mentor student academic progress.

• Supervise students in research projects and support their academic endeavors.
