Job Description
Al Ghad Charter School is an American Curriculum school located in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities:
Main Duties:
Deliver inspiring lessons to motivate students towards success.
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively.
Develop positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Plan engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum requirements.
Liaise with parents to ensure students' happiness and academic success.
Work cooperatively with curriculum support staff.
Teaching and Learning:
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the curriculum.
Organize the classroom and learning resources to create an engaging environment.
Plan and present sessions catering to the needs of all students.
Motivate students with enthusiastic teaching.
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate with other professionals if required.
Behaviour Management and Duties:
Implement the school's behavior policy.
Manage classes effectively, inspiring, motivating, and challenging students.
Maintain positive relationships with students and act decisively when necessary.
Be a positive role model and uphold the school's values and behavior expectations.
Carry out assigned duties in line with the school's policy.
Wider Professional Responsibilities:
Contribute to curriculum development and special events.
Participate in school events, outings, and activities.
Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding students' achievements and well-being.
Make a positive contribution to the school community.
Run a weekly extracurricular activity each term.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Science or related subject with PGCE or other teaching qualification.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.

Passion for teaching and educating the whole child.
Professionalism and consideration for students' well-being.
Involvement in extracurricular activities.
Respect for all members of the school community.
Positive and solution-focused attitude.
Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
