Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:

• Deliver inspiring lessons that facilitate student success and achieve the best possible outcomes.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.

• Create a positive and engaging learning environment through classroom provision and displays.

• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching methods.

• Assess children's progress and adjust classroom provisions and curriculum accordingly.

Behaviour Management and Duties:

• Follow the school's behaviour policy and manage classes effectively.

• Maintain positive relationships with pupils and act as a role model for expected behaviours.

• Carry out duties as directed and within the school's policy.

Wider Professional Responsibilities:

• Support planning, assessment, resources, and special events as part of a curriculum action group.

• Organize and participate in school events, outings, and activities.

• Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student achievements and well-being.

• Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.

• Run a weekly extracurricular activity each term.

Assessment and Data:

• Take responsibility for the progress of the class and meet assessment requirements.

• Use assessment data to influence planning, provision, and intervention.

• Provide feedback to parents and carers on student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.

• Minimum 1-2 years of Teaching experience.

• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.

• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.

• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities.

• Respect for all members of the school community.
