Job Description
The Children's Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the children's program to ensure it provides the best experience available. The ideal candidate will create a warm and friendly atmosphere where children can learn and have fun in a safe and clean environment. They will lead a team of enthusiastic and caring personnel, ensuring that all staff members are properly trained and adhere to company policies and procedures. The Children's Program Coordinator will also handle member management, class registration, facility management, and administration, as well as organize birthday parties and maintain the cleanliness of the facility. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring that all staff members maintain a professional appearance and possess the necessary certifications and skills to work with children.
Key Responsibilities:
Interview, hire, train, develop, retain, supervise, discipline, and terminate Lead Teachers and Assistants.
Implement and uphold employee policies and procedures.
Assist in scheduling staff for daily operation, classes, and parties, handling vacation requests.
Establish rapport with parents/customers and ensure their satisfaction with the program/facility.
Handle parent questions and complaints in a non-confrontational manner.
Handle class registration and payment for all services, ensuring prompt payment of tuition.
Ensure attendance is kept for all classes and handle make-up classes properly.
Assist Facility Manager in maintaining and managing computer systems and inventory duties.
Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and monitored by staff at all times.
Encourage booking of birthday parties and ensure all party supplies are on hand.
Conduct weekly inventory of operating and marketing supplies and provide a list of items needing replenishment.
Maintain a professional appearance through proper clothing and good hygiene.
Skills Required:
CPR & First Aid Certified and child safeguarding.
Current Gymnastics Certification from the International Federation.
Experience in children’s sports programs or similar field.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
