Senior Java Developer

The Role: Developer

Experience: 7 to 10 years

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, develop, configure, implement, and support business applications in Java technologies.

• Understand project requirements, existing implementations, and build or maintain Java applications.

• Conduct initial design reviews and recommend improvements.

• Write clear code and prepare coding documentation.

• Assist in troubleshooting Java applications.

• Participate in structured waterfall/agile development processes.

• Conduct code reviews, testing, and collaborate closely with QA and business teams.

• Contribute to overall enterprise architecture and integration technical specifications.

• Provide regular updates and feedback to the Lead Technical Architect.

• Supervise technical parts of the functional design of solutions when needed.

Ideal Profile:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Software Engineer role.

• Working knowledge of payments, Temenos, JBase, Spring, J2EE, and banking.

• Strong networker and relationship builder.

• Creative problem solver.

• Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
