What You'll Do:

• Database Leadership:

  • Provide expert guidance and lead a team of Oracle DBAs in designing, configuring, and managing databases.

  • Ensure databases meet all functional and non-functional requirements, optimizing performance and scalability.

  • Oversee database security and maintain data integrity across production and non-production environments.

  • Champion high availability, ensuring databases meet defined SLAs for continuous operation.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Possess a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, and core database administration principles.

  • Have a well-rounded knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and data architecture concepts.

• Documentation & Best Practices:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive database documentation, encompassing data standards, procedures, and data dictionary definitions.

  • Champion the adoption of best practices for database management and application DBA methodologies.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with a proven track record of success.

• Strong understanding of Oracle database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL) and core DBA principles.

• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and data architecture concepts (a plus).

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in database technologies.

• Proven ability to design, configure, and manage databases to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

• A focus on ensuring database performance, integrity, and security.

• Experience in maintaining high availability for production and non-production databases.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration.

• Prior experience as an Application DBA is a plus.
