The Role

As a Data Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in extracting valuable insights from data to support informed business decisions. Here's what you'll do:

• Leverage your expertise in data architecture and data lake concepts.

• Collaborate effectively within an Agile product development environment.

• (Bonus points!) Utilize your marketing experience to gain a deeper understanding of data analysis within a business context.

• Resourcefully acquire and validate data, designing and executing data analysis even with potentially incomplete information. You'll meticulously cross-check results to ensure accuracy and identify potential limitations.

• Craft detailed functional requirements, process flow diagrams, and compelling business cases, including gap and impact analyses.

• Translate your data analysis into clear and actionable business insights, effectively communicating the implications of findings gleaned from interviews, observations, and data exploration.

• Champion and establish a consistent rhythm for business activities related to reporting, including the audit planning cycle and key metrics.

The Ideal Candidate

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst (required).

• Strong understanding of data architecture and data lake principles.

• Experience working within an Agile product development methodology.

• Marketing experience a valuable asset.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to creatively acquire, validate, and analyze data, even with incomplete sets.

• A keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to data verification.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present business insights.
