Business Tutor

Study Group, a global leader in international education, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Business Tutor for its International Study Centre in Bahrain. The Business Tutor will join the expanding business team and be responsible for delivering and developing modules in Business, Economics, and Econometrics, ensuring an outstanding learning experience for international students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, and develop modules in Business and Finance for undergraduate and Pre-Master’s level teaching.

• Prepare and deliver teaching sessions for Standard, Blended Delivery, and Online programmes.

• Mark formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective programme delivery and curriculum development.

• Track students’ academic progress and implement intervention strategies as needed.

• Participate in quality assurance procedures and contribute to course monitoring and review.

• Attend meetings and training sessions to support academic management and personal development.

Qualifications & Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business related subject area with a minimum of a Master’s degree.

• Relevant Teaching Qualification or in the process of achieving this.

• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Further qualifications in the subject area are welcome, with a Master’s qualification essential for teaching on Pre-Masters programmes.

Experience Required:

• Experience of teaching business, economics, and econometrics modules in the UK Higher or Further education sector.

• Teaching qualification and experience of working with international students at PG level with some UG.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to develop and update teaching material, preferably within a Virtual Learning Environment.

• Competence in teaching and administrative IT skills.

• Proficiency in teaching appropriate software such as SPSS.

• Strong record-keeping skills and commitment to continuous professional development.
