Investment Strategy Senior Director

Job Responsibility

• Develop stc investment strategy in line with stc Board aspirations, stc Group DARE strategy and cluster growth consideration

• Lead the development of periodic markets report/studies that covers, but not limited to, latest trends, market drivers, policy and regulation updates, major players, supply demand, challenges, etc…

• Lead opportunity scouting & screening, targets/ partner's shortlisting, and manage communication with potential partners in close coordination with Investment Development

• Conduct market screening and list potential targets with inputs from external ecosystem (e.g. investment bankers and other networks)

• Engage & manage relations with internal clusters & FUs to support in concept & target development

• Develop concept papers in line with investment strategy which include, but not limited to, i.e. strategic fit, investment criteria and sourcing filtration, potential targets, competitive landscape, industry trends and market size.

• Maintain opportunity pipeline with proper prioritization and progress control in coordination with Senior Management.

• Maintain repository of deal flow activities and potential target information details

• Develop vertical expertise in growth areas as defined by dare and act as the vertical advisor to investment development in opportunities execution

• Develop management reporting and monitoring of the Investment strategy execution

• Develop investment charter & checklist

• Present investment concepts to senior management and committee to obtain approval
