Job Description
A reputable company in Kuwait is seeking a skilled and experienced Store Keeper to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing and organizing the inventory, ensuring all products are properly stored and accounted for, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area. The successful candidate will also be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming goods, preparing orders for delivery, and coordinating with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment. The Store Keeper will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality
Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all products are properly stored and labeled
Prepare and maintain accurate records of stock levels and transactions
Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment
Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring all products are properly packaged and labeled
Monitor and report on stock levels, anticipating any potential shortages or excesses
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area
Conduct regular stock audits and report any discrepancies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Follow all company policies and procedures related to inventory management and storage
Preferred Candidate:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Store Keeper or similar role
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using inventory management software
Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and moving heavy items
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
High school diploma or equivalent
