Pre-K Teachers

We are a full-time, private Islamic school located in Sunnyvale, California. With over 25 years of experience, we are dedicated to nurturing and providing quality education to Bay Area Muslim youth. Our school emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving, while also fostering an Islamic environment that integrates Islamic values into everything we teach. SVA offers four educational programs: pre-kindergarten, elementary, middle school and a small accelerated high school program.

Role Description

Silicon Valley is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic pre-K teachers to join our team for the 2024-25. In those roles, you will be responsible for lesson planning, education, communication, teaching, and training. You will work closely with students to support their academic development and actively contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to effectively train and support students

• Passion for working with youth and fostering their growth

• Knowledge of Islamic values and ability to integrate them into teaching

• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a sense of community

• Experience in an Islamic educational setting is a plus

• Experience in Glad teaching philosophy is a plus
