Sidra Medicine, a leading healthcare provider in Qatar, is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join their team!
About the Role:
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of nurses at Sidra Medicine. You will collaborate with nursing leadership and clinical staff to ensure that educational initiatives are aligned with best practices, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Partner with nursing leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nurses across various specialties.
Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for staff development.
Design and deliver educational programs using effective teaching methods.
Assess the competency and skills of nurses.
Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new nurses and affiliated students.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in nursing education.
Contribute to research activities as needed.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to educational programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
Registered Nurse license (required).
Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field (preferred).
Certificate/diploma in leadership, education, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric acute care nursing (essential).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a nurse educator role or staff development role (essential).
Demonstrated knowledge of learning theory and curriculum design (essential).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (essential).
Commitment to continuous professional development (essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (essential).
Fluency in written and spoken English (essential).

Sidra Medicine is a 400-bed women's and children's hospital, medical education and biomedical research center in Doha, Qatar. The hospital first opened its outpatient facility in 2016, followed by its inpatient hospital in January 2018. Qatar Foundation, a quasi-government organization, allotted a massive $7.9 billion budget for the hospital's construction. It first selected the center's contractors in 2008 but in 2014 assigned new contractors to complete the project. Biomedical research first began at Sidra in 2015. Outpatient care facilities and services were inaugurated in May 2016; as of 2018 there are at least 50 outpatient facilities. Throughout 2017, more than 25,000 people were treated at the hospital's outpatient clinic. On 14 January 2018, Sidra launched its inpatient hospital with 400 beds, treating 10 patients on its initial day of opening. The hospital is expected to become fully commissioned sometime in 2018, after the construction of an emergency department and the addition of further services.
