Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Identify and source potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and negotiating contracts to ensure the best terms and conditions.

  • Manage the purchasing process from start to finish, including sourcing, ordering, receiving, and inventory management.

  • Monitor market trends and perform market research to identify new suppliers and products that can improve our supply chain.

  • Forecast demand and work closely with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, resolving any issues that arise and negotiating better terms and conditions.

  • Analyze and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations, throughout the purchasing process.

  • Participate in strategic planning and budgeting activities to optimize purchasing strategies and achieve cost savings.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process.

  • Availability to travel between Saudi cities

Preferred Candidate:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a similar industry.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of local market trends and suppliers in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in all aspects of the job.
