Job Description

Join our team as a Crew Hotels & Allowances Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience for our cabin crew members around the world.

About the Role

Based in Doha, Qatar, you will be responsible for overseeing our Crew Hotel & Allowances program. In this role, you'll work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to guarantee our crew receive top-notch service during their layovers.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management: Support the Crew Hotel & Allowances management team in developing a vendor performance framework, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to track service quality.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor vendor performance against established metrics, identify trends and emerging issues, and work collaboratively to find solutions.

  • Invoice Management: Oversee the invoice verification and payment process for crew hotels and allowances.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders like Procurement, Ground Services, and Crew Control to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.

  • Performance Improvement: Drive stakeholder engagement to achieve program targets and ensure deliverables are met.

  • Crew Layover Management: Supervise the provision of operational crew rooms and transportation at outstations, adhering to contractual obligations and exceeding expectations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualifications: A relevant college or university degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.

  • Vendor Management Expertise: Proven knowledge of procurement and vendor management principles, particularly using KPIs and vendor/balanced scorecards.

  • MS Office Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to analyze data and manage dashboards effectively.

  • Airline Operations Knowledge: Prior experience in airline operations, particularly flight operations, would be advantageous.

  • Customer Focus: A strong customer service orientation, with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Highly developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English.

  • Aviation Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working with suppliers and stakeholders in an aviation environment is a plus.
